Rent SUP and kayak in Alingsås. We are located at Playa Mjörn. Enjoy the beautiful nature from the water that both Mjörn and Säveån have to offer. Kayaking and SUP with friends or family in Alingsås is a peaceful experience and a fun activity that suits anyone wishing to try kayaking or SUP as a beginner. On a paddle here, it is easy to experience a lot and at the same time stay close to the shore. More experienced kayakers can paddle further out on Mjörn and experience a larger lake, and once there also take part in a wonderful landscape with about 75 islands, cobs and skerries that create a wonderful archipelago feeling. Renting a kayak in Alingsås is a fun activity to do this summer. It's flexible, inexpensive and always available with the unmanned KAYAKOMAT concept.
Local tips for your kayaking in Alingsås; Mjörn & Säveån:
- Paddling in Säveån is a great alternative if you want a calmer paddling near land! A picnic in Nolhaga park is a cozy break!
- Important! “Risöskär” is a bird protection area with no access allowed between 15 April and 15 July.
Good to know in Alingsås:
- Parking is available by the beach.
- Public toilet closeby.

On the day of your booking, you will receive a code via email and SMS. Arrive at your KAYAKOMAT and unlock your gear. Inside you’ll find everything you need: PFD, paddles and sprayskirts. If it’s your first time out on the water, make sure you double check our safety tips.
TIME TO PADDLE!
Now you’re ready to go! Enjoy your time out on the water, and be sure to tag us @kayakomat on social media. When your rental time is finished, return your equipment, check that everything is clean and lock it back up.
