PLEASE NOTE: THIS IS NOT THE PROVINCIAL CAMPGROUND LOCATION AT POPLAR BAY. If you are at the large provincial campground you need to select a different location.
Enjoy a paddle on popular Pigeon Lake. With its beautiful day-use area featuring picnic tables, green areas to relax, a playground for the kids, and sand to sink your feet in, this is the perfect place to take a day off. This area of the lake attracts a variety of waterfowl and is a great place for birders. Beginners can comfortably try both SUP and kayaking, while still being close to shore. For those of you with more experience, and on a calm day, head on down the shoreline for a little more of a challenge. Experience Zeiner Campground from a new perspective!
Local tips for paddling at Zeiner Park, Pigeon Lake
- Great lake for practicing and taking longer trips along the shore. Be cautious when venturing out to the middle of the lake as motorboats are present.
- Enjoy a variety of flora and fauna along the shore. Great bird watching!
- Explore the creek located just south of the beach.

On the day of your booking, you will receive a code via email and SMS. Arrive at your KAYAKOMAT and unlock your gear. Inside you’ll find everything you need: PFD, paddles and sprayskirts. If it’s your first time out on the water, make sure you double check our safety tips.
TIME TO PADDLE!
Now you’re ready to go! Enjoy your time out on the water, and be sure to tag us @kayakomat on social media. When your rental time is finished, return your equipment, check that everything is clean and lock it back up.
